Dr. Linton Completes Training in Dental Implant Care
December 2, 2019
Beall Dental Center congratulates Dr. Brian Linton on completing the prestigious Augusta University MaxiCourse®, a comprehensive training program in implant dentistry. As a result, Dr. Linton has obtained an Associate Fellow Certification from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
The nationally acclaimed program provides 300 hours of lectures, laboratory sessions and hands-on procedural training over a ten-month period. Dentists learn from the country’s top experts in implant dentistry using state-of-the art technology.
For many years, the only options available for people with missing teeth were dentures or bridges. Today, dental implants provide the most realistic replacement. They look, feel and act like real teeth with a strong, durable, permanent anchor. That means they won’t slip, like dentures sometimes do, when a person speaks or eats. Patients can eat their favorite foods and chew with ease. Implants also help to keep adjacent teeth stable to prevent further bone loss and facial sagging. Best of all, dental implants can last a lifetime if properly cared for. Patients will benefit from improved oral health, more comfort, convenience and a boost in self-confidence.
Blending his educational experience with his high standard of care, Dr. Linton enjoys offering dental implant treatments alongside Dr. Beall at Beall Dental Center. “I’m thankful for this opportunity to learn new skills and therapies that will benefit my patients,” said Dr. Linton. “On a personal note, it’s been a great year studying alongside some amazing dentists. I’m grateful for all the new friendships I’ve made along the way,” he added.
